History of Video Games part 2

I have watch the second part of "Rise of the Video Game". In this part, it talk about the incorporations of storytelling and character development. For video game to have a future after the 70's, it have to appealed to the consumers by having a story that talks about the world settings and characters motives just like watching movies but players want to interact within the world. Developers wanted people to connect with the characters and understand their struggles in order to be in their shoes. Nintendo's Mario is one of the first characters to be majorly popular and instantly popular thanks to his design and gameplay. When Sonic debut, the world instantly fell in love with his punk rock attitude since its the early 90's . I learned that designers need better graphics to make the game story to be told in cinematics. When the Sony PlayStation launch in 1995, it uses CD to hold about 600 bits which can CGIs videos in their games to tell some stories like a movie. Video games will continue to evolve to make greater stories for others to enjoy
